The SEO Specialist will play a key role in the execution of organic search optimization and content strategy initiatives for the Industrial Digital Manufacturing department. You must be experienced and competent with all aspects of SEO from local, national, and ecommerce SEO. This position will require an in-depth understanding of the Google Search algorithm and current industry best practices. This role will require a balance of strategic guidance and hands-on execution, focus on process optimization, and proven experience driving effective, efficient and creative marketing solutions.
  • Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings.
  • Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials.
  • Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
  • Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy.
  • Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions.
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
  • Analyze core metrics performance data and make strategic recommendations through written reports and PowerPoint presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Conducting, cataloging, and analyzing competitive market research to provide strategic insights tailored to their industry.
  • Provide keyword direction for digital flyers, blog posts, press releases, web content, and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure consistency and search best practices across all platforms and materials.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in organic search.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure projects are completed on time and meet client expectations.
Experience Expectations:
  • 4-6 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns within a corporate environment.
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods, along with best practices across all types of digital marketing content and assets.
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Moz, SEM Rush, Yoast, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Screaming Frog, Spyfu, SEOquake, etc
  • Knowledge of keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, content marketing, data mining tools, and link building as they apply to marketing/e-commerce platforms.
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data daily.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or other related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative nature with a positive demeanor.   
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
