Supplier Specialist /Expeditor - 8:30am-5:30pm Tuesday-Saturday
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Sales, Product Development and Customers including custom quotations, large quantity quotes (BQ’s), expedite requests, and special requests (SIQs) to increase customer satisfaction and sales overall.
- Serve as liaison between Supplier, Customer Service, and Warehouse for notification of delays, cancellations, undelivered orders, and other supplier-caused disruptions.
- Support achievement of team KPIs through completion of daily tasks, effective time management, and timely communications to suppliers.
- Obtain lead times, order status and delivery information from suppliers/distributors, expediting orders as needed.
- Enter replacement orders for short shipments, freight damage, or incorrect material supplied.
- Improve productivity based on internal processes.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross functional activities.
- Serve as contact point to address and resolve escalated supplier/internal customer issues.
- Work effectively with procurement departments from domestic and overseas suppliers.
- Other duties as assigned by the management.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Two (2) years purchasing / procurement / supplier management experience desired.
- High proficiency in MS Office suite, Excel/Access/SQL is a plus.
- Excellent time management and prioritization
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, training/material retention.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Ability to collaborate with suppliers. to support customer needs.
- Works with high degree of initiative, professionalism, independent judgment, attention to detail

Pay Rate: $26/hour
